Welcome to Global Health Night 2015

Global Health Night is a dynamic and interactive event, dedicated to Global Health. The participants will be presented with a broad introduction to different career opportunities within the field of Global Health. Everyone who has an interest in Global health is welcome, but the event is especially aimed at university level students as well as employees, researchers and teachers at Karolinska Institutet.

The evening will start with interactive lectures with high profile professionals within the field of Global Health. After the lectures there will be a mingle, were NGOs such as Unicef, Red Cross, Operation Smile and other organizations connected to Global health will get the opportunity to present their work and mingle with the audience. This will give the participants a broad introduction to different ways of working with health in low-and middle- income countries. Drinks and light food will be provided during the mingle.

Lastly, there will be small focus groups discussing different topics within Global health. These groups will have a limited number of participants and will require pre- registration.
